M400-OA3 PHASE CURRENT RELAY

The M400-OA3 is an over current relay designed to monitor current in each phase of a 3 phase system and provide a relay operation when an over current conditions occur.

The M400-OA3 is housed in a DIN standard 96 x 96 mm case which is front of panel mounting. This feature provides major economic and safety benefits, when compared with the traditional DIN rail mounted product. Any required readjustment or function checking, can be achieved without the need to access the live side of the panel. The M400-OA3 also has the benefit over conventional current relays in that it indicates which phase current has reached the trip level.

The relay has customer adjustable current input settings from 2 to 6 Amps for each phase and an adjustable time delay of 0-1 second. A manual push to "TEST" button is provide for checking the relay operation.

The status of the relay is always apparent from the front panel. A Red LED indicates the state of the relay, a further 3 Red LED's are provided to indicate which phase current has exceeded the pre-set level. The state of the auxiliary power supply is indicated via a Green LED.

The relay is latched so once the earth fault occurs the relay remains energised, regardless of the condition of any of the individual 3 phase currents. The relay can be rest via a reset button on the front of the M400-OA3 without breaking the locking seal.

A lockable front cover is provided to ensure that unauthorised personnel cannot tamper with the set point or time delay of the Earth Fault Relay.

M400-EF1 EARTH FAULT RELAY

The M400-EF1 is an Earth Fault Relay designed to monitor power systems and provide a relay operation when an earth fault current occurs.

The M400-EF1 is housed in a DIN standard 96 x 48mm case which is front panel mounting. This feature provides major economic and safety benefits, when compared with the traditional DIN rail mounted product. Any required readjustment or function checking can be achieved without the need to access the live side of the panel.

The relay has customer adjustable current input setting from 0 to 2 Amps and an adjustable time delay of 0 to 1 second. A manual push to "TEST" button is provide for checking the relay operation.

The status of the relay is always apparent from the front panel. A red LED indicates the state of the relay, and a green LED indicates the state of the auxiliary power supply.

The relay is latched so once the earth fault occurs the relay remains energised, regardless of the condition of the system being monitored. The relay can be rest via a reset button on the front of the M400-EF1 without breaking the locking seal.

A lockable front cover is provided to ensure that unauthorised personnel cannot tamper with the set point or time delay of the Earth Fault Relay.
