CONTACTORS TYPE NF AND NFS
CONTACTORS FOR MEDIUM FREQUENCY UP TO 500Hz, 1200 V

These contactors, specially designed for the use in the control of induction furnaces, are constructed in two versions with different characteristics suitable for the different frequencies of utilization.

a) Contactors type NF for frequencies up to 250Hz:
They are directly derived from the standard bar-contactors of the N series and constructed with care to avoid dangerous overheating and to withstand high voltage;
b) Contactors type NFS for frequency from 250 to 500 Hz:
These are derived from the NF series by the fitting of laminated magnetic blowing circuits and the use of non-magnetic metals for all the parts subject to the circulation of induced eddy current (fixed and movable axles, bolts, etc.);
